If I had the choice to stay or to leave in 1999, I don’t know whether I would leave. Two of my major bones of contention have been corrected since I started to “fall away”:
1) The Watchtower opposition to college education
2) The belief in the 1914 generation
There is still one other major stumbling block for me: The enormous amount of misquotes and misrepresentations in the Watchtower books, whether they are quoting scientists, theologians, or the legacy Watchtower literature. To use American slang: IT STINKS.
