I was a dinner guest where one of the Governing Body members said that during the summer of 1975 they were razzing Fred Franz about the end coming in the summer of 1975. Fred smuggly replied to these chides by saying "It isn't October 1975 YET!!!. As most of us realize October 1975 disappeared over the horizon 24 years ago. Don't think for a moment that the society didn't expect great things in 1975 and also expected the loyal ones to share those expectations.
