Christ shafted the Pharisees! And when he turned over the money tables and shafted them with his words to them, he then walked out.
Since the Jews were forbidden to eat pork, wouldn't you think that the pig-owner was some "pagan" foreigner, like a Roman? If so, it could be argued that Jesus couldn't have cared less if that person suffered financial loss.
But all of this is just a diversion anyway. The real issue (which you've failed to address) is why did Jesus have to do something spectacular like that in the first place, when he easily could have purged the demons without doing it?
