Hi Ros, in your topic ``Post #2 from GB (Posted by ros4GB [ros] on October 19, 1999 at 19:26:49 {fCBUFl1XAQdmhhsMJ.h27/SY5I9NtE})'' our brother said: "As for secret rooms, well, what do you expect me to say here? That we have a Room 102 where Mr. O'Brian tortured Winston into compliance? Would that confirm some of the juicy speculations about the world headquarters?"
I would like to know if this was meant with sarcasm, as it probably was? Or is there such a room where such an incident such as this occurred, down in the monolithic underground Brooklyn Bethel labrynth of office facilities and inter-connecting tunnel system? (I saw the first video of this impressive sub-terrainean system back in the 1970's at a circuit assembly, and if memory serves correctly it's an underground world reminiscent to the depiction of Area 51 in the movie "Independence Day." Maybe they just "oversold" it in the video to impress everyone but it was almost like something you would expect under the U.S. Pentagon.)
I'm concerned, Ros, whether he's trying to tell us something about what goes on there? Or if he was being facetious to make the simple point that everyone has unrealistic expectations about what goes on in Bethel and what he knows? (I can well imagine the predicament he's in, which is also the whole paradox of H2O's anonymous structure.)
If abuse is really going on, then you need to protect his identity because if you suddenly stop hearing from him, we don't want to worry he's locked in a room somewhere underground! Please help put my mind at rest, I'm hoping he was kidding. Sorry if I take things too seriously if that is the case!
Rick
