Aloha Brother,
I have read through the two posts you have made. My heart was touched both for you and all who will read your loving comments. I can say that I fully understand the skepticism that may have been voiced but with the various movements, such a the liberalelder and AJWRB, it seems obvious that there may be a way to reverse the tide within the Organization by remaining inside and trying to subtley work from the inside out. And surely, one on the Governing Body would be in an optimum place to influence many of the thoughts of those who dictate policy.
I was particularly touched by the following words of yours..
Again, I understand and respect your comments regardless of how they are directed at me. Be assured that no one among the Governing Body is using this forum to play tricks on you, get into your lives, or bother you in any way. The 'body' has not authorized me to take on this venture. I have done so for the reasons I gave in Post#1. I only ask that you give consideration to the possibility that at least another one of the 'body' is not pleased with what the organization has become. I extend Christian love to you,
Brother, even though you have been meticulous at remaining anonymous, those who are intimate through correspondance with various ones on the GB, and many have close friends with whom they have assocation through the medium of letter writing here in Hawaii, it would be very easy for one who has such a relationship with those that serve on the body to actually make identity by writing style. My own family, still remaining active within the Org, has had the opportunity to develop close and lasting bonds while hosting many on the GB for their visits to the congregation in the North West that my family was associated with for over 20 yrs.
I would caution that the obvious 'tricks' to try and unveil your identity may have been among some of the tactics to try and get you to expound sufficiently - therefore giving further and further proof of your identity. Surely, as you have already suggested, there are ones 'loyal' to the cause of the WTS who would consider it a high point in their career as a company man to 'nail' the person who is posting these posts, and with sufficient printed copy turned over to the GB and writing staff it would be easy to determine your identity.
In addition, it would seem to me that Brother Ray Franz would have been contacted by now to verify whether or not your posts have a ring of truth to them and especially if you served with him he too would recognize your speech patterns and writing styles. I have followed your posts nearly from the beginning through their being reposted at several locations about the internet. Initially I decided that the poster was not actually one of the GB because the english was not consistent with what I know of the GB. However, the latter posts have taken on a decidedly different tenor and could in fact be the writings of someone, if not part of, close to the GB and in any case influential enough to perhaps really make a difference. (It is only lacking a smidgeon of humor to be from the one who writes, Sister B.B., here on the Big Island)
The point for me, I am disassociated now for a couple of months, and have family remaining behind, I don't see where change within the org will actually do anything unless it is a change to bring the org in line with many of the traditional Christian denominations and really give way to the WTS being viewed as merely another protestant choice. Frankly, and please forgive the analogy, no matter how you take a pig out and clean him up, even dressing him in ribbons and bows, when you strip away all the fodder you get back to the pig and when it is cut loose it will return to its mire. Dressing up the Org with new fancy baubles and bells making it seem all sweetness and forgiving still does not remove the main point, they juxtapostion themselves right smack dab between the individual and the Lord and that is in direct conflict with God's plan and purpose. They are not God's TRUE Org and never will nor can be. Jesus is the ONLY one with whom we can freely approach the father and the Holy Spirit is the ONE who teaches us when and how to accomplish that with a clear conscience.
I am grateful for the many things I learned in my 28yrs associated with the WTBTS. It was lifesaving in a corporeal sense. The righteous discipline seems unequalled elsewhere and it appears that is exactly what God's plan for me was to first of all get in the 'routine' of learning and adapting. However, when things started being repeated over and over and especially things that changed with the hierarchy it became time for me to actually make a list of positives and negatives, revisit a lifelong commitment, reevualate my dedication and to whom I was dedicated and make corrective steps as my conscience, heart, mind, soul and spirit led me to make. I will never step backwards for that would be like gradutating from college and wanting to return fulltime to kindergarten. But I will forever remain grateful for those things I learned while in elementary school that laid a wonderful foundation for the under graduate and post graduate career training. And Christianity is a career choice and path which needs not only the best of education but yearly continuing education credits to stay abreast of what the Holy Spirit is accomplishing in our day.
Brother, I will pray for you that whatever God has as a plan for you continue to be clear to you and that HE give you strength and reward your allegiance, obedience, faith, loyalty to HIM, your own refreshing when it is necessary and most of all the clarity of Spirit to see with eyes of Faith what it is God is working in you. Remembering that no work that God starts goes uncompleted.
Praise the Lord for HE is good ALL THE TIME! -Psalm 107:1-2 And his tender mercies abound and endure.
