i have NEVER said or implied that jw have a valid excuse
i merelypointed out to you the mindset that the avg jw has

in school we all knew the kid whose mom was a Slut/Ho/ drunk/crackhead / you name it
yet if you said something about his mama it didnt;' matter in most cases you still had to pick up your teeth off the ground because you said something about his MAMA
it didnt matter whewther it was true or not
all he knows is you are talking aobut his MAMA
and if you have been a JW in any position of oversight- cultivating this mindset of the
ORG= MAMA is done all the time and the almost instinct reaction of a jw is so predictabble it ain't even funny
very rarely will you show a jw the info you post here so many times and they respond back
" You seem to be on something here i think i will leave the org for i didn't know that we taught and beleived such stuff"

instead they come back with everything they can to
keep from making MAMA look bad , you know that
i have a roomate right now who works the service desk knows most of the stuff is Goofy yet he says
"I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me"
he got almost 20yrs at bethel and the thought that
he wasted all this time for the Goofy stuff they print and send out is enough to make any jw depressed at the thought.
i know personally for me it was a struggle to come to grips with the FACTS that You and so many others kept on putting up
I WENT FROM ANGER TO you guys are just losers cause you didn't get an appointement etc
but then when i realized that there were guys up here who had held all kinds of titles and gave them up due to not being able to Reconcile what we
say and what we do and many other things i had to
come to a conclusion
as for my wife and i we were the great example of true jw former bethlite elder with the pretty poineer wife and we were young i was 27 on the district giving talks
of course it helps when the CO is a former bethleite smile but anyway
so for me it was not an issue of feeling i was not loved or got cut short' or was not part of the IN CROWD my wife and i were memebers of the in crowd
we had problems with the fact of the directions we saw the org going
while you avg jw beleives everything is the direction of Jah will ( how folks are apointed, who gives talks on the convention, etc)
we knew how it really worked and we enjoyed it as well
I felt sorry for sister old and bro no father as they got cut short so many times
they were never invited over they were just second class jw
i could not see how we talked and printed a good game but in the real world of jw life it is very diferent
after dealing with guys like you af,nh jh and others i had to do some serious soul searching
if was not easy to walk away from what to the avg jw is "the top of your game"
but we did and it was the best thing as a black man i could have ever done
we both are back in college that we gave up to pio and go to bethel
we are now agressively saving money in investments, we are having a home built, we started a consulting biz that has taken off and is doing well
we are living what we have been told for years we could not live A NORMAL LIFE
My wife is 37 and now she for the fisrt time in her life has a desire to have a baby something that for yrs was told to us wait till the new system
so like i have said many times i feel sorry for anyone who thinks that God whispers into his ear
if you feel that being rough with a jw is the way to go fine
i spent all my life judging folks and handing down condemnation not anymore if
that is your style COOL
I JUST MERely SUGGESTED that understanding why folks think the way they do helps you and myslef to know how to deal with them ,
that's all
