They can have as many excuses as they want. The fact is that they claim that what is printed in the Society's lit(t)erature does come directly from Jehovah - NOT from men. Transmitted to the society via angels, etc.

As long as they have these claims, they have a facist as a God - and the racist/facist views expressed in the Watchtower is nothing better than the ones that was "usual" at the time. But is that an excuse?

The fact that others did hold those views, is no excuse for the Watchtower to hold the same views. Today most people do military service - and according to same rule, it's OK for JWs to join the army, right?
