Yes, basically. I don't get depressed really. I am mostly just generally much happier like a great weight has been lifted off. When I do feel negative, it is feeling stupid for ever believing them, and feeling angry that they condemn their victims.

I don't think that we should blame ourselves aside from acknowledgeing errors so as not to repeat them. I think this organization represents a sort of niche-filling phenomenon in sociology. Most of the growth from outside of the organization came in the sixties and seventies, a time when, for the first time there was a fear of nuclear destruction and extreme distrust of government and religious credibility. Here come the witnesses to sell their bill of goods to those vulnerable. In addition to the main time period of external growth, I have never met a witness that was not raised in in that was not from what we call a disfunctional family. No, we were victims of psychological predation.

There is much in the archives of this forum that will help you adjust your emotions. The mind adapts more quickly of course. I have about a dozen megabytes of data from here, and I have read a hundred times that much. And this was all just help in getting used to what I had already learned first hand before I ever came on the internet.
