James Andrew Jackson O'FARRELL (he also went by the name of Jim) was born on 2 March 1868 in Oak Grove, Escambia County, Florida.

He appeared on the census of 1880 in Escambia County, Florida; he was listed as the 10 year old son of Rebecca O'Farrell.

He was mentioned in a deed in which he purchased 20 acres of land from the McMillan Mill Company on 1 September 1895 in Escambia County, Florida.
