There's a method to my madness... Or so I like to hope. For those of you who don't already think I'm nuts, here's a bit about myself to sate any curiosity that may lurk... I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A prairie girl from a not so small prairie city. No I don't live on a farm or live in an igloo as so many wonderful (clueless) people have inquired... and I drive a car. Not a dogsled. I live in a nice normal 2 storey house near the Red River with my parents. Single life in an apartment didn't work too well with me I guess. *Laughs* I'm a Term 3 Information Systems student at Red River College, majoring in Networking. Been hard as all hell getting back into study mode after a year slacking off slinging fries at McDonald's. *Shudders* 8am to 6pm some days, there's a conspiracy here I tell you. Hauling ourselves all over the campus with laptops and textbooks slung precariously over our shoulders in backpacks. And the Buffalo Cafeteria. Ahhhh yes, the good ol' Beefalo. Yuck. I enjoy camping, mountain biking, and the outdoors in general. I also have a deep love for medieval history and Celtic culture. In what little spare time I find myself with lately, I find myself out with friends for Sunday cruising or wherever some fun can be found. Back in Toronto, I enjoy gaming at the Net cafés, going to sports events and going for Bubble Tea with my boyfriend and our friends there. Just Waiting to get out of this big ol' iceberg they try to pass for a city here and head back East to Toronto for yet another stint in post-secondary education at York or Ryerson (not sure which yet...) The Promised Land I tell ya! A place where they call in the Army to clear more than 3 centimeters of snow! I want my career, my picket fence, the man of my dreams and a couple of kids... eventually... A woman can dream... |
