April 99 - The first spade full of dirt of 2850 shovels full.
190 wheelbarrow loads apx. 11.75 tons of dirt!

About 2/3 of the 11.75 tons of dirt the rest was dumped out in the wood in depression The blocks were used to keep the dirt out of the hole..

The finished hole. The hole is 3 foot deep and the shelf to the left is about 1 foot deep the water level will reach the top of the blocks around the edge.

The hole after the carpet was put in. $27 a yard brand new. But I got it free or it would not be there. Note the pump installation and filter.

The pump - Oase Nautilus 60 1930 gal at 10 foot. The vertical pipe is a support no water connection It is bolted to a concrete block. the out put of the pump is 1" the pipe is 2 inches.
