Oli and I decided to go to Wales for the weekend. On saturday we rode round the Marin XC trail in Gwydyr Forest in Snowdonia, North Wales. It was fookin' freezing. An hour in and my feet were numb. We were riding in 6 inches of snow and it was hard work. An awesome day. I borrowed a Commencal meta 5 and Oli was riding the Nicolai Helius CC. Both bikes handled the adverse conditions with ease unlike the riders. Check them out at head-for-the-hills.

We spent the evening "relaxing" in a horrible local Chinese restaurant which was straight out of the 80's.

On Sunday we walked up snowdon which was a white out for most of the time.

Roll on summer!
