| Chris started his percussion lifestyle in 2000. He started taking lessons from Ray Clark, shortly moving on to the instruction of Matt Shumaker from the University of Georgia. After a few years of playing in the LHS band and several drum corps in the southeast, he then joined the Teal Sound Drum&Bugle Corps 2004 under the instruction of Tyler Dempsey. Chris is currently drumline section leader/center snare for the percussion line at Teal Sound 2005. His heart lies mainly in rudimental drumming, but he also dabs in marimba, concert snare, and many other percussion instruments. Chris plans on attending Georgia State University to study music education/performence in Atlanta.
