Building Effective Hotel Work Teams

After determining a good time for all of you to meet (e.g., 12 noon before class) You have 90 minutes to engage in the activities below and then 30 minutes to debrief the exercise.

Determine a Team Name

Compose a Team Song to Be Performed in Class: Please be merciful!

Your team is to try to find the following items on a scavenger hunt:

a. a picture of the team

b. a newspaper article about a team

c. a piece of apparel with the university log or name on it

d. a pack of hotel match sticks or match book

e. a book by Arthur Hailey, preferably the novel Hotel.

f. an article about the overall performance of the Pattaya Music Festival as an event.
