Friday morning, bright and early, it was time to head for the airport. We had a long flight ahead of us and had to be sure to clear customs.
We went out the front of the hotel (me again being thankful that Teresa was adamant about packing light) and got a cab to the airport.
A Mercedes Benz cab to the airport and this was not unusual. Evidently their cabs are different in Europe: I never saw a BMW cab, but there were plenty of Mercedes, and other "luxury" cars as cabs.
It was a very smooth ride to the airport.
Going over, I had been able to nap, but this was the middle of the day coming back - Teresa and I both read a great deal.
We got into O'Hare Airport, bought the car out of hock (Tip: parking rates at O'Hare airport are HIGH) and headed back to Kalamazoo.
We were happy to be home.
