| Edward O. Wilson would critique Ken Wilber's transpersonal psychology by pointing out the lack of support for his transrational argument. Logically, using the scientific method of investigation, if a person did indeed have access to a transrational state of being, then there should be evidence or by-products of this. Something that could be quanitatively or qualitatively analyzed. An apparent lack of this supporting evidence would make him suspicious of any such claim. Wilson would also attack Wilson's model's vulnerability for an inflationary tendency. Moving "up" the systems chain to the metaphysical too quickly and without proper evidence. |
