| Race as a bological concept is inhearently flawed. Since all humans have a common origin, we are all the same species. Our genetic structure is almost identical. So similar that we can interbreed between these racial lines. In fact, this is one of the resons that race is a flawed concept. We are so inbred, that there is no such thing as a pure or nearly pure genetic strain. Race is most helpful as a cultural term. A person can be raised in a particular cultural system and be identified as a viable member of that culture independent of his genetic background. There is no "cultural" memory in the sense that a person may be 100% integrated into a culture regarless of his liniage. |
