This is a network of sites that link to each other. It's like a webring, but better. This network consists of sites that are either funny or not mainstream material. The purpose of this network is mainly to provide free advertisement for your site, and to give it a chance to compete with more commercialized sites. After all, just because we're little and unknown, it doesn't mean we suck. So spread the word and viva the Underground Network!

Who can join?

Your site must be punkish, nerdy, dorky, fundamentalist, or in a word, unusual. We don't want preppy and popular filth, we want the arcane, bizarre, hard to find. It is recommended that you maintain your site on a regular basis or leave explanations for your lack of devotion. So join!

How do I Join?

If you think you belong in the Underground Network, email me at [email protected] and [email protected] with a link to your site and it will be evaluated.

You've been accepted. Now what do I do?

1. Use frames and link to all the affiliates of the Underground Network. Also link to the Underground Network and Members page. You can link to my UN pages or copy them onto your own site and link to those.
2. If you don't like frames and you use tables to create your site, then you will need to have links to the affiliates on every one of your pages.
3. It is simplest to use a DHTML or Macromedia Flash toolbar on each of your pages, like the DHTML one on each of my pages. Note that my visitors have access to affiliate pages on any page of mine, and that should be the case for each affiliate page.
