In 1989 I was given a copy of this story, which was compiled in Alliance, OH in 1965, by Orley E. Brown (who passed away in 1986), and other descendants, from several manuscripts and accounts of Jonathan's story.
Sources are:

(1843), of Virginia (1845), and of Ohio (1847).

through April 6, 1882.)
