Today was. . . well it was. There isn't really one word to describe it because the whole thing was up down up down up down. Yeah, so deal with it. Bwaha.
Rachel got back in town today so she came over, Betsy, Emily, and Abbey were over as well. Me and Abbey went to go get her paycheck. Emily and Betsy went to go get theirs. We went to meet them at Best Buy, we were there for 45 min. and we were starved so we left. Emily called, she said they were going there then so we went back. Only had to wait like 20 min. this time but it was because she had all of her money in this HUGE jug haha.
I saw lots of cute boys, working, and shopping. . .and playing video games haha cute. We got Emily's video camera (woo!) but not until we dumped tons of change all over the floor to count it. After this purchase we all went to Abbeys to get some food. It was already 5 and I hadn't eaten all day. So, I had two hot dogs. Yum. pffh right. haha. Emily and Betsy go home and me and Abbey stay at her house waiting for 7:30 to roll round.
Tonight was the LBC concert. We got there at like 7:30 and didn't get in until about 9:30. The radio said the show was all ages it ended up being 18+. I got in anyway because I was on the guestlist being on the street team and all (woo!). Rachel pretended to be Emily and Abbey almost didn't get in but they got her a pass last minute. There were so many cute boys there, oh man, I'm not even going to get started on that because it annoys the shit out of me when other *people* go on and on about that so I'll try not to go on and on about it, bear with me haha. Showoff opened for them and they were really really really good. Dan the drummer is one of my new favorite boys, mos def. Next came LBC they were also really really awesome! The show itself was great, we all jumped around, sang along, and had a damn good time.
The Aftermath. . .
The actual show ended around 12. We hung around with the band until 2. . .leaving for a few minutes to take Rachel home. We took pictures, my arm got burned by Adam, I tried to take Adam to a moon bounce (it was gone. damn.), we sang songs, joked around, and had a great time. At about 2 they were ready to go back to the hotel so they were like "aww guys come with". They knew we were only 15 and 16 and that nothing was going to happen ("they're hot as hell, but a little young), but that was cool because then we didn't even have to worry about all that. We go to the hotel but only stay for a little bit. As soon as we go in I don't see "the slut" or Dan so I was like pffh I'm ready to go and Abbey's mom had already called once. We were walking out here comes my hot new favorite boy carrying pillows and a little sleeping bag (aww). "hey guys" "where are you going" "we have to leave" "aww why, come on stay" "the security said 4 people to a room" "we can get another room" "we really have to go". damn. damn. damn.
We go out to the parking lot and hang out with Cory for about 45 min. Dan comes out at one point and it took all the strength I had to keep from pouncing on him. Pouncing, haha. At one point this scary big homeless black guy comes over "whats skraighthedge?" (hes a rockstar) "what, he smokes rocks?". oh god, poor guy. We eventually leave without getting Cory's number or anything, aren't we intelligent. Go home to Abbeys and crash on her floor.
All in all it was a great time.
Highlights of the night:
-Getting up the courage to FINALLY talk to the sexy boy we've all been eyeing from Die Tomorrow (going and standing right infront of him is a good way. what the hell else are you supposed to do when he says hello just walk away. . "aren't you in Die Tomorrow, where can I get a cd"-
-Getting up the courage to talk to my new favorite boy Dan "is your Gatorade supposed to be that color?"-
