FOR NEW USERS:

Please read the document 'HUNTER.WRI' it is in Windows Write 3.1 format and 
contains all instructions on how to use HUNTER.
You may want to print it as a reference.

As for installation, just copy all un-ziped files in one single directory of 
your choice (I propose C:\HUNTER)


FOR USERS OF PREVIOUS VERSIONS
------------------------------
  The HUNTER.WRI document has been updated to reflect the latest changes and
  additions made to the program.

  For users upgrading from Hunter 1.0: 
  ------------------------------------
  You need to replace only the files HUNTER.EXE and AG.MAP in the existing 
  installation, this will keep your other settings intact (*.pc files).


  For users upgrading from beta releases (versions 0.x):
  ------------------------------------------------------
  The map files from beta release of HUNTER are not compatible.
  You will have to replace completely your previous installation.

NEW FEATURES AND CORRECTIONS

Version 1.1:
  NEW FEATURES:
  - Revamped splash screen.
  FIXES:
  - Hit points gauge to handle correctly value greather then 327.
  - Griffin lair area on the AG map that caused headache to Hunter.

Version 1.0:
  NEW FEATURES:
  - Recall manager: you can now set, goto or clear up to 8 'recall' positions
    within the map window.
  - FizzyVision tiles and maps by Fizzbozz.Alf have been incorporated
    (special thanks to Carmen for her outstanding work!).
  - Internal map file format has been changed to support area jumps and to
    save mucho faster.
  - A new macro character is added: the tilde (~) which translate to 
    the <Enter> key when executed.
  - The '5' key on the numeric keypad paste the appropriate movement command
    when on special tiles (e.g.: rope up tile -> 'climb up' command). This
    includes portal chant.
  - Air jumps are now automatiquely tracked (when playing) or processed 
    (double-clik on the map).

  FIXES:
  - Trailing and leading spaces in macro's are now saved correctly.
  - Alt-1 to Alt-9 are now processed correctly when the map window has 
    the focus.
  - Custom fonts 'HUNTFNT.FON' have been removed, they were giving to much
    trouble.
  - The key window display is now updated correctly when loading another
    configuration file (*.pc file).
  - The key window is now coming in front when selecting View/Key menu.
  - The correct extension is now used when saving maps (default was .rpl 
    instead of .map).
  - Other minor cosmetics...

Version 0.2a
  - A nasty bug appearing with VGA.DRV driver has been corrected.
  - The Macro edition is now in a separate dialog under 'Settings, Macro'
  - The Macro window (view) has now two shapes available: 1x12 or 3x4. This
    allow to fit it horizontally at the bottom of the desktop.
  - 3D dialog effects have been added.
  - There is now a 'Setting, Communication' dialog for setting your com port.
  - Map tracking works now with level changes except over air jumps.
  - Map editing has been improved (color and tile selection).
  - The tile's file is now a simple bitmap file, user editable.
  - All maps are now commented
  - Minor bugs or annoyance around macro's have been fixed.
  - Ctrl-C, Ctrl-O and Ctrl-P is now recognized and sent to CIS.
