Stances : (DACHI)

  1. V-Stance = Musubi Dachi
  2. T-Stance = Teiji Dachi
  3. Kneeling Position = Seisa Dachi
  4. Feet Together = Haisoku Dachi
  5. Feet separated 12 inches = Heiko Dachi
  6. Wide V-Stance = Hachiji Dachi

Fighting Stances : (Kumite Dachi)

  1. Horse Stance = Kiba Dachi
  2. Fighting Stance = Fudo Dachi
  3. Forward or Long Stance = Zenkutzu Dachi
  4. Wide Horse Stance = Shiko dachi
  5. Cat Stance = Neko Dashi
  6. Forms Stance = Sanchin Dachi

Blocks : (Uke)

  1. High Block = Age Uke
  2. Middle Block = Ude uke
  3. Low Block = Gedan Barai
  4. Knife Hand Block = Shuto Uke
  5. Cross Hands Block = Juyi Uke
  6. Outside-Inside Block = Soto Uke

Punches : (Zuki)

  1. Oi Zuki = Short punch
  2. Yaku Zuki = Long Reach punch
  3. Reverse punch (Straigh Up Fist) = Tate Zuki
  4. Repetition Punch = Ren Zuki
  5. Two Alternated Punches = Seiken Choku Zuki
