Jonathan Morales (writer) Talks About "Capcom vs SNK: The Return Of Orochi" And His Next Project.

The Return Of Orochi is based on the King Of Fighter '97 and the Capcom vs SNK games. It's about this evil god called Orochi, who returns to earth after six years to seak vengeance on three warriors (Kyo Kusanagi, Chizuru, and Iori Yagami) who defeated him in the King Of Fighters '97, and to take control of the world. It is up to Ryu, Kyo Kusanagi, Dan Hibiki, Joe Higashi, Guile, and large cast of fighters to stop Orochi and his evil minions. It takes place in the fictional place of Southtown, where most character in the SNK universe live. 

I first got the idea of Return Of Orochi a long while ago. In an earlier fic of mine I thru in a part to stick the story together about Orochi coming back. But I never made a fic that ever focused on Orochi. In the middle of the fic the hero will go through bigger challenges every episode. There will be some deaths that will occure in the last few episodes, that some people who are probably fans of the character will not like. But it has to happen, to keep the fic where it belongs. The fic is mainly dark, it has a bit of Comedy here and there, but mainly dark. All of the comedy will surely be taken out for the last few episodes, due to there serious and dark nature.

After I finish Return Of Orochi I plan on starting this new fic about me, going by my nickname JVGG, who is sent by King Pong of the VideoGame World to lead an army of videogame characters against an army of videogame haters. The title for now is "The Legacy Of JVGG: The Fight For VideoGame World" it's mainly about a war but it's not too dark. The reason it has "The Legacy Of" is because I plan on making it a fic trilogy.

If Return Of Orochi is a success there may be a sequel, but not dealing with Orochi, but another evil god that will attemtp to take over the world. If I make the sequel it will be almost entirely diffrent from Return Of Orochi, to keep it more original.

You'll be seing The Legacy Of JVGG: The Fight For VideoGame World sometime in the coming months. And as for the Return Of Orochi sequel, sometime late this year or early next year, depending on when I finish Return Of Orochi and the Legacy Of JVGG trilogy.
