During the days when I was singing professionally as my main source of income there were lots of pictures taken of me. These are some of my favorites.
Yup, hard to believe it, but that's actually me! Just a few, er a...well ok, several years ago BC (that means before Curlybug heh heh)This was one of my publicity shots that would be posted in the lobby of lounges and hotels where I sang.
This is Hot Chili, a band I formed myself. We played a lot of 50's and 60's music. We later added another girl singer and changed the name to Hot Chili and the Tomatoes. Once when our name was up on a marquee, some guy came in wanting to know where the chili was! He thought he was gonna get food, but the bartender told him the chili was onstage and he stomped out mumbling about how hard it was to find good hot chili!

This was my first publicity shot ever. I think I'm about 18 in this one.
A couple of years later, gettin down! Funny thing was this wasn't my gig. I was just filling in for the lead singer. I guess she forgot that she had told this photographer that he could take pictures that night. I lucked out and got a few nice really shots that I was able to use later.
The City was one of the last pop/rock bands I was in. This was just a year or so before I got married to my first husband and had my son.
