The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Wednesday Aug 8, 2002
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game released for the N64. This game is sort of an RPG type game with action adventure. You start off in the game as a young boy, Link, the main character. What this child doesnt know is that he is the one to rid his land of evil. This game takes you from inside a talking tree to the face of evil itself. Ganondorf is the name of this evil. Ganondorf want to take the Triforce's all three parts, Power, Courage, and Wisdom to use it for his own evil. But it is Link, the chosen one who is to stop him.

Final Fantasy VIII Review

Saturday Aug 25, 2002
Final Fantasy VIII is a breakthrough for the Final Fantasy series. Mostly with the CG movies. Also with the great, well composed music, this was a game nice for the eyes as long as the ears. This game has Active Time Battling, this is a real time battling system. To make yourself stronger you must junction magic to yourself to become stronger and more resistant against many things. There are also the GF's (Guardian Forces). These are summuns that do great damage. Each GF has its own element or effect. Watching these GF's battle animation is fun at first, but after a while it can become annoying. There are many characters in this game, and you take the roll of Squall, a SeeD. He is part of a military type school. The game is very large and has several side quests. This is a game worth playing.

1-Terrible, 5-Best. Graphics, how they look for the system and its time period. Control, this is how the game handles, how easy it is to controll players, menues, etc... Fun Factor, This is how fun the game is, also it is not too easy or not too hard. Sound, This is the sound effects and music of the game. Reliablility, This is pretty much how the lasting appeal of the game is and also the ending of the game.
