This week sees Juventos go into the new campaign with a tough first round game, against their old foes, Strollers. In team news, the half 9 kick off means Chard Sands is able to play despite work commitments. Juan Box and Simon Fowler swap places, with the spaniard returning between the sticks. Mark Hurcombe returns to the line up, but Steve Knight is unavailable due to a council meeting, so Simon Broadway will keep his place if available. It'll be Juventos vs Strollers, at Chapter School.
'Tos Get Through To "Cup" Next Round
An under inspired Juventos crept past a fired up Travellers side in an exciting cup tie at Chapter School on Wednesday. 2-0 down at the break, 'Tos fought back with goals from Steve Box and the ever impressive Simon Broadway to force a shootout. Broads and Steve Knight put away their penalties to seal the win.

An effective performance from Juventos resulted in a 5-1 win over a hard working but lacklustre Mean Machine. Goals from Steve Box, Simon Fowler, James Lancaster and a Chard Sands brace were enough to seal the win. Read the match report here.
Knight Faces Late Fitness Test
After a month long lay-off due to ill health, Steve Knight has passed himself fit for duty again to face Mean Machine this Wednesday. He should come in for Sam Waymont, in the only change to a team that impressively beat Cliffe Woods 4-2 last week.

After a long break due to the chairman moving house and having no internet access, the website is back up and running. Stats will not be updated for this half of the year, as records have not been kept, so the games from Christmas onwards will count as a new season.
