Japan 2000
I am very proud to say that I have been to Japan, and what makes me happier was that I was honored as a Mazda Scholar from Mazda (Yes the car company) and Youth For Understanding. It was a very long process, and I would trade anything in the world to go back to Japan again. I stayed in Hiroshima, Japan for about two months, and had the best host family in the world, and made many new friends that I hope to see again. (Jenny that means you even if I have to go all the way to Germany to see you again!) During my stay I wrote a journal and I may post some of the entries here. I think that some of them may be a bit boring. Any who, if you would like, take a gander at some of my pictures. I hope you like them, and if you ever have the chance to go overseas, do it!!! Going to Japan really changed my outlook of the world, and I hope that others get to experience this as well. Oh by the way, if you are still in High School and interested in going abroad, go to Youth For Understanding's web page. They'll give you all the information that you'll need.
Here is a list of the pictures that I have posted on my page. Sorry I don't know how to do thumbnails, otherwise there would be a preview, but I'll do my best to tell you what the picture is. Oh and some of the pictures are a tad big... Sorry

Aiko and Yumi. Two of my closer friends (Not from school mind you). I call this the best international picture because Aiko is playing Super Mario Brothers on my Gameboy.
This is Happy, our Dog.
