Lorna Darling is the great-granddaughter of James Liddle who was born in Alva Scotland in 1808 and then migrated to "Down Under" where he died decades later. Lorna's mother was Charlotte Liddell Darling, first born daughter of Archibald Liddell (born 1848) who was the second born son of James. Lorna was born during the early 1920s.
