This is a picture of Wedford Jackson (Jack) Wedford Liddell, Ximena Liddell Parsons,
and Cheryl Freeman Hayes at the AG Rhodes Nursing Home in Marietta,
Georgia. This was taken on the occasion of Xime's 95th birthday
(December 11, 2002) at which Jack had given her the trophy. She was
the first of our family to reach the age of 95. She passed away the
following May. Jack and Xime are first cousins and Cheryl is their
1st cousin once removed.
Xime is important to the Team because of her more than 70 years of
genealogy work on the family lines of the Liddells of the Southern United
States. It was because of her dedicated work that the Team was able to
devote itself to establishing an organization and extensive files
overnight since she had done nearly all the foundation work necessary for
the Team to start growing. In a very real sense, Xime founded Team
Liddell et al through laying its foundations in the drawers of her six
filing cabinets. Jack Liddell and Cheryl Hayes were members
of Xime's team of workers and founding members of Team Liddell
et al as well.
