3 Generations of Liddles taken about 1930 in Colfax, Washington.  From the left,   William Harold, Newlee Van, Thomas J., Theodore M. and William Alexander.   Newlee Van, the father of webservant Bill, William Harold and Theodore are the sons of William Alexander and grandsons of Thomas J.

Memorial: Barney Liddell, shown here, on the left from the 1960s, and on the right, in his late 70's, was the lead trombonist in the Lawrence Welk Band and its road manager, and later, a member of the Big Band Alumni Club.  He always was noted for his gentlemanly and humorous ways.  Barney passed away 5 May 03.  He was born and raised in Indiana, and wrote a Team member's mother once in the early 1950's to say that he (or his line) was from New York but didn't know anything back past his grandfather, a James Liddell.  As a result, we don't know his kinship, but we'll claim him.  He was definitely one of ours.

Jessie May Johnson Liddell, who married Daniel Wilson Liddell.  She was descended from Daniel Johnson, born in 1800, who was an early Georgia (USA) State legislator.  They were the parents of Herman Wyland Liddell (Xime's father), Julian Liddell (father of Wedford Jackson (Jack) Liddell), Noble Foster Liddell, (grandfather of Cheryl Freeman Hayes), Daniel Wilson Liddell, Jr., Mac Liddell, and Mary Liddell.  When Xime was 9 months old her mother passed away. She was then raised by Jessie May Liddell.
