Everything you need to know about JTI.
One magical day in the early stale Concord summer of 2003, Chris Koch and Matt Schroeder decided to buy a 12 pack of the greatest beer on earth; Keystone Premium.  The boys were lookin to put a few down on the infamous "KP Red" beer bong assmebled by the good people at Ace Hardware.  After a couple breweries, the two cunning young gentlemen got to talking about music.  Low and behold, Chris and Matt came up with the idea of starting a band.  Maybe it was the Keystone Premium, maybe it was the scorching summer sun, or maybe it just was something in the air that made that day a special one that would forever alter the course of musc history.  The seeds had been planted and JTI would set out to liberate people.

Joining up with legendary drummer Scott Boyer and the infamous bassist Nick Fedotoff, all the pieces were in place.  Along with Koch's Shakespeare-like flowing style and Schroeder's mind-altering guitar riffs, JTI had everything they needed to become Gods in the business.

The first day the whole band played together, each member knew that there was a magical almost mysterious feeling in the room.  There was an aura of fiendish chemistry that floated through the air that fateful day.  JTI began playing its music in the stuffy garage of the Schroeder family's humble dwelling on the west-side of Concord.  Who would have ever known that they would someday be playing at house parties throughout the east bay.

JTI's music come with the experience of run-ins with the law and almost every type of party situation imaginable.  Their lyrics speak with motifs and underlying messages.  Listening to a JTI song takes you away to that special place that only certain things in life can do.  Their songs uncannily capture the atmosphere of being at a party with too many sausages, being in a room with a bunch of sober girls, forest rangers who possess an unimaginable powertrip not known to the common man, and tales of the different people that JTI has come to know and love through their music, like a fantastic individual by the name of Cubby.

Through it all, JTI has managed to stay drama-free.  From the aggravating girls to the fag guys who sometimes just need to bounce, JTI has rose above it all.  What does the future hold for this superhuman band you ask?  Only time will tell but in the meantime, JTI will be doing what it does best: makin' that music that will make you bob your head and make you wish you were sitting with your girl, sappin a KP while relaxin on a lawn chair.
