| My great-great grandfather on my dad's side was William Padgett. He married Elizabeth Deshon in 1854. It is reported they were illiterate Kentucky farmers. They had twin daughters, Susie, my great grandmother and Doshie, born in 1871. |

| My grandmother, Anna, was born January 5, 1899 to Susie Padgett. There are no records of her father, and grandma never discussed him. She was later adopted by Susie's husband, Ashford Bunch. |
