Beautiful outside Shore up the holes that periodically appear Hiding in the patchwork while i shed a tear Mend it fast before someone see's the pain Then u have to open up more and explain.. Weave ur patchwork back together.. Smile and the storm inside will weather Sorrow so lonesome that it rapes the soul.. Hiding ever so deep so the world wont know.. Holding close old memories.. and a pillow of a nites weep Strenghing the walls of my precious keep.. So bittersweet the soul's own sorrow.. Hiding in yesterday.. keeping out tomorrow.. Shadowed eyes haunt my secret safe place Silent pain hording its space Teardrops plummeting into a shallow well.. Living inside me and my private hell.. The echo of lost dreams... Head bowed face hidden by ur hair Tears glistening on the verge of spilling Held tightly in check Holding it together Even though inside ur a wreck Understanding is far from being understood Alone although ur right there Silent Screams of desperate need Seeing me w/ a Blind Stare How could u not see how I hurt?
