| I started skating at an outdoor arena when I was a young child. As I re-call, I didn't enjoy if very much. All I can remember is having really cold feet and crying! I began to take my skating seriously at about age 20. I joined the CAN SKATE program and acheiving Novice Level. I then started coaching with Mice Capades. I enjoyed that a lot, but the company has since closed down in Ottawa. I hope someday to train so that I can join a Precision Skating Team, on a recreational basis. | |||||||||||||||||
