Thread Worked in CoatsAida #30
Abbreviations.
- picot, + join, ST shuttle thread, rg ring, ch chain s- small picot, rw reverse work, cl close,
ds double stitch, blt bootlace tie
bootlace tie ~ just pass shuttle thread over ball thread as in a half knot like tying laces to change
the position of the threads and making a tiny loop that is used for joining the last chain in the row
of chains on the skirt.
Note: I have used in several places joins with the shuttle thread. I have not counted these as half
a stitch therefore the stitches before and after these joins are complete double stitches. I have done
this as I believe it looks better.
Please note that I am left-handed so I have printed the diagram twice, once in reverse.
