Having distance between you and the
One you love is so hard at times
Especially if they are not in your
Life as you would like for them to be
It's like time has stood still since
They have gone. You can take so much
Sadness in your life but when you lose
Someone you care about it feels
Like you have lost a part of yourself
Maybe this person is the one who makes
You smile when no one else can, or laugh
When they know you need it most
But at the same time this person knows when
You have something on your mind even
Tho you never say anything bout it
Sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes
Not, for there is no possible way you can
Hide anything from that person
They can always see inside you, beyond
Your walls or your guards
You need to cherish that person
If and when they enter your life
Coz they were sent to you for a reason
So maybe the distance between you will
Not be as far in the future
Love them with all you have inside
Your heart and soul and maybe
They will see just what you have
To offer them and maybe would
Want to love you back
Just have faith
