Heavenly Hug – Kristie

It all started in the summer of 1999. I begged for my parents to take me to Wilmington. When they finally said yes I was so happy. This was going to be my first trip there. As soon as we got there, I made sure to call the casting director and see if they needed extras for the week. Well sure enough they did. The next day I was to report at UNCW to work as a student. By the time I got there they were already doing other scenes. That is when I saw Josh! OMG~he is even hotter in person than he is on TV!! We weren’t allowed to talk to the actors, so I just waved and smiled. He then had to leave. I was very disappointed that I didn’t actually get to talk to my Joshy. So as soon as we got back from our trip I begged my parents to take me again. Well having the nicest parents in the world they agreed to take me again in April. Well April came very slowly but when it was finally came, I went. I arrived in Wilmington around 3pm. I was so anxious to get out that we didn’t even stop in our hotel room. My dad and I went down
town, where I had a feeling they would be taping. Well believe it or not, they were! I saw on a sign that said Dawson's Creek filming in process. I started freaking out and jumped out of the car. I saw a whole bunch of trucks and cameras, so walked towards them. That is when I saw a man walking towards me. AND GUESS WHO IT WAS?!?! The one and only Joshua Carter Jackson!! :) I dropped all of the stuff I had in my hands and just stopped. He came to me because he obviously knew I was a huge fan. He said, "Hi, how are you?" It was so hard for me to answer, I just felt like bursting into tears. But I didn’t, I kept my cool. We talked for a little while and I got him to sign my picture and also to take a picture with me. Before he left I made sure to tell him how much I love him and I asked him for a hug. Being the sweetest guy in the world he agreed and I didn’t want to let go of him. It was heaven. But he had to go, I kept walking and that is when I met James and Katie. I later went back in August and met Michelle.  I also saw Josh again driving in his car.
