| The Tormenting of 98 Degrees |
| It was a dark and rainy night (of course, what did you expect) and the members of 98 degrees were hoping to make it to the next city in time to get a little shut eye before the hectic day would begin at 6 a.m. Drew (in the back seat): Man, is this rain ever going to let up? Its getting really foggy too (Drew had a look of concern on his face). Nick (Driving): Its okay little man, big bro is here to take care of things. Drew: Boy, like thats supposed to make me feel better. (Drew rolls his eyes) Nick: Sit back you little creep before I let you out on the side of the road. Drew: You wouldnt do that, Grandma would put the evil eye on you or something if you hurt me. Nick: Yeah, well Grandma is getting a little frail minded, Ill just tell her you stepped out of the car to stretch and the munchkins took you back to Oz. Justin (In passenger seat): Would you two shut up! Your giving me a headache. I dont know whats worse you two or Jeffs constant rumble of a snore back there. Nick: Its not us, its the effects of all that bleach that absorbed in your head. (Drew lets out a giggle.) Justin: Shut up Nick, you think your so freaking funny, I got a joke for ya, hows your love life lately? Nick: Even without getting any, its better than yours. They hear Jeff mumbling from the backseat. We love it , its great, its our life, we love it, really we love it, we do, we love it and thats the story Im sticking to. Justin: Oh great now Jeff is doing an interview without us. Drew shut him up. Drew: I would rather hear the interview than his snoring. Jeff (head back, totally talking in his sleep): Huh, how did we get together? Well you see. Drew: Your right snoring can be a good thing. HEY JEFF, SHUT UP MAN!!!! Jeff ( coming out of his sound sleep): Huh, huh, what???? Man I just had the worst nightmare. I was doing an interview and they kept asking me the same questions over and over and over. Nick: Thats no nightmare, thats our lives. Justin: (With a smirk) Yeah and we love it, really we love it. Drew starts laughing and Jeff playfully punches his shoulder. They start wrestling around in the backseat. Just as Nick was going to tell them to settle down, they all hear a loud POP and the car skids out of control and into a ditch. Everyone checks to make sure each one is okay. All of the guys exit the car into the pouring rain and fog. No one is hurt just a little shaken. The car is in no shape to be driven and even with all that muscle they knew they would never be able to get it out of the ditch Drew: Dang Nick, what did you do that for? Nick: WHAT!!!???? Its not my fault!! Of course Drew knew it was not Nicks fault. The guys did not have their cell phones on them because that would ruin the story if they did, so live with it. They started walking down the long dark road to no where, not knowing what would be in store for them around the next bend. The poor soulsif only they knew. Nick: Hey Sprout with all this rain maybe youll grow. Heehee Justin: Yeah, good thing youre not a cotton sprout, you might shrink. Drew: Great, Im being heckled by fat head and droopy dog over here. Hey Jeff, why dont you dance for us.. that should make it a perfect night. Jeff: Dont make fun of my moves man, some of the ladies really get off on them. Drew: Yeah right, the blind ones. (Jeff slaps Drew in the back of the head) Nick: Dont hit him like that (Drew thinking Nick is defending him gives Jeff a defiant look) its more like this. (Nick slaps Drew on the side of the head). Drew: HEY!! Justin: Oh, you mean like this Nick? ( Justin slaps Nick on the side of his head.) All four start wrestling and horseplaying with each other in the mud and having a grand old bonding experience when they see the headlights of what looks like a bus coming down the road. |
