Here is some trivia that we have found about Blue and her friends. The sources are from Magazines, the internet and other places. Do you know how to tell the difference between Blue's Bark and Magenta's Bark? Its fairly simple if you listen. All of Blue's Barks start with a b sound. (B-UR B-ur B-UR) and Magenta's Barks all starts with an r sound. (R-UR) In every Episode there is a small pink snail that appears at 3 different times. However, you will never see her in the kitchen. (According to the Magazine article "No snails near the snacks please)> Which characters are boys and which characters are girls? Boys: Steve (of course), Mailbox, Plum, Purple Kangaroo, Slippery Soap, Periwinkle, Mr Salt, Cinnamon and Shovel. Girls: Blue, Magenta, Baby Bear, Paprika, Green Puppy, Orange Kitten, Pail, Tickety, Sidetable Drawer, Mrs. Pepper, Grandma Cayenne(from The Baby's Here episode) and Miranda (Magenta's friend). Watch Tickety very closely, sometimes her numbers will change to an icon. You may see a pillow at bed time or naptime and a book at story time. Yes Steve is leaving the show, he will continue to be in new episodes through the middle of 2002. He will be introducing his "brother" Joe in several interlapping episodes to get kids used to him and make the transition easier. (Parental Note: I have already informed my son that Steve will be going away but Steve's brother Joe will now be playing Blue's Clue's with him. And he seems to be taking it well. I told him that we will always have Steve on tape for him to see when he misses him but Joe is just as funny as Steve and wants to be his friend). Steve trivia: Who taught Steve sign language? (This is our favorite episode and helped my son communicate with a deaf girl in his class) Answer: Marlee Matlin Some of his "favorites" are: playing the guitar, music, soccer, Grover, Rocky Balboa and reading. In Blue's Big Treasure Hunt Who played Steve's Grandma and what was the 3rd clue that led to her (giggle, cookie and ?)? Answer: Rue MacClanahan.
