| WUW is an orignal character fed only. Their will be no exceptions. You cannot apply as anyone who is currently employed by WWE We also don't want blatent rip offs like The heartbreak kid steve michaels. Keep it original. You can however have celeberity's/independant workers as managers or characters. 1.) Have fun....respect all roleplays, even if you think they aren't "up to par" with you. All roleplayers are not created equal! Have respect for those who are trying their best. It is up to the staff, and only the staff, to determine if someone just isn't fit for WUW, so ABSOLUTELY no negative remarks about anyone's roleplays on the RP board! 2.) No complaining.Any complaints to the staff saying you were cheated out of a victory because you "out-rped" another wrester will not be tolerated. This is wrestling, you win some, you lose some, if we think you're good enough to win titles you will, but you will also lose along the way. Many times, it's how you respond to a loss that determines how you will be pushed, not how you respond to a win. And keep in mind, angles play a huge part in what we do at WUW. Sometimes the better roleplayer will lose because of an angle we are working on. But don't worry... anyone who roleplays consistently and shows a dedication to improve their craft will be rewarded. 3.) No racial slurs whatsoever. I personally do not tolerate it, and I'm sure none of the other staff will. If anyone breaks this rule, their roleplay will immediately but deleted and they will recieve an e-mail notifying them that if they break the rule again, they will be fired. 4.) There is no line limit for rps here. If you feel that all you need to say can be summed up into a 10-line rp, then at least make it effective...not all rps need to be 100-lines....if you can write those, then great, if you can't then just write to the best of your capabilities. Some people write longer, more elaborate roleplays while some get right to the point. That's fine, because we're looking for variety. After all, no one wants to read 10-12 posts of the same roleplay. And while HTML is nice... we actually encourage it because it makes for a better looking roleplay... don't think a roleplay full of HTML will impress the staff enough to overlook poor quality! The basic philopsphy of WUW when it comes to roleplays is "Substance over style, and quality over quantity!" 5.) Respect the staff and all of the staffs decisions. If results are late, they are late with hopefully good reasons. Keep in mind that running this e-fed is not the only thing that we do... we have lives, jobs, families, school and other relationships. Our writers are committed to have their matches in "on time," but we understand that sometimes things such as family emergencies, illness, computer problems, etc. occur. 6.) ABSOLUTELY no using other members' characters in roleplays without permission! This means no attacking someone else in your roleplay, but it also means no speaking for someone else in your roleplay as well. Chances are, if you contact your adversary he/she will give you permission for a reasonable attack or use of their character(s). However, if anyone complains to either of the owners, the offending party will be warned, and the offending roleplay will be stricken from the boards. Repeated offense will result in immediate termination of your character. If you do want to attack another wrestler, contact the owners and we'll see about working it into one of our shows as part of an angle. And last have fun in your stay in the World United Wrestling! |
