Seinfeld Memories

We asked some of "Seinfeld"'s most famous
guest-stars what they remembered most fondly about their
"Seinfeld" experience.

Regis Philbin

Talk show hosts Regis Philbin & Kathie Lee Gifford ("Live with Regis & Kathie Lee")
who guest-starred as themselves in
"The Opposite" (May 19, 1994)

Regis: I was the only one who never got a laugh on "Seinfeld." The word "bonkos" is not funny! I don’t care what the writers say!

Kathy Lee: My most memorable moment was when Kramer spit all over my "Kathie Lee casual" dress. Thank goodness I had three more!

Actor Stephen Root of NBC's "NewsRadio"
who guest-starred in
"The Invitations" (May 16, 1996)

The show I did had a scene in the lobby of a bank -- I played the manager -- where Michael, as Kramer, did this brilliant, signature turn as a customer waiting in line caught up in the velvet ropes. Really funny, physical stuff, and the cast and crew loved itbut, unfortunately, it never made it to air.

Actor Dan Cortese of NBC's "Veronica's Closet"
who played the male version of a bimbo, in
"The Stall" (January 6, 1994)

Thanks to the genius of Larry David (the show’s co-creator) and Jerry Seinfeld, my legacy as the original "mimbo" will live on for eternity.
