Sasnak
Installations
Sasnak is a collaborative with members Justin Gabriel McInteer, Timothy Burton Goodwillie and Brian Dinkins.  Sasnak is Kansas spelled backwards which was the theme of our collaborative.  We were all born and raised in the wondrous state of Kansas.  Due to the lack of cultural stimulus we all developed our individual over-active imaginations.  Consequently, as a collaborative, we created elaborate animated installations of compacted shrines and wry marrionettes all within a carnival-like context.  The work was event-based, relying heavily upon the viewers own presence within the space.
