Exposition
- Framton Nuttel has nervous condition and is "resting" in the country
- Visits the Sappleton's to rest there
This is the Exposition because it tells the background of the story and the setting.

Inciting Incident
- Vera tells Mr. Nuttel that there has been a tragedy in the family
This is the Inciting Incident because this is the part of the story that starts the rising action.

Rising Action
- Mrs. Sappleton speaks to Mr. Nuttel
- Vera reveals story of the tragedy when her uncle went hunting in the woods and never came back
- Mrs. Sappleton says her huspand will be home shortly
This is the Rising Action because it is making the story exciting, right before the climax. 
Climax
- Mr. Sappleton and the dog return
This is the climax because it's the point of no return.

Falling Action
- Nuttel runs out door and flees, thinks Mr. Sappleton is ghost.
- Mr. Sappleton and Mrrs. Sappleton brother with dog return
This is the falling action because it is wrapping up the story right before the resolution

Resolution
- Vera tells another made up story.
- Mr. Nuttel is told that Vera is a specialist of making up stories on the spot, and the story of Mr. Sappleton was false.

This is the resolution because the story is over, it's the end.
