I perceived as I read, how the collective white man had been actually nothing but a piratical opportunist who used Faustian machinations to make his own Christianly his wedge in criminal conquests. First, always “religiously,” he branded “heathen” and “pagan” labels upon ancient non-white cultures and civilizations. The stage thus set, he then turned upon his non-white victims his weapons of war.

Piratical: The actual definition of Piratical is One who preys on others; a plunderer. One who makes use of or reproduces the work of another without authorization. Malcolm thinks that the “White Men,” prey on blacks, and don’t give them credit for the work they’ve done.

Opportunist: The websters definition of Oportunist is: One who takes advantage of any opportunity to achieve an end, often with no regard for principles or consequences. Mr. X thinks that white men take advantage of his non-white victims and use them.

Heathen/Pagan: Malcolm is saying that white men branded these names on balcks just because of their skin color. The word heathen means One who is regarded as irreligious, uncivilized, or unenlightened. Pagan: means non-religious. Malcolm is angry because they say that non-white are non religious and don’t believe in any gods.
