High school, this is a whole new world. More students more teachers and more classrooms. I can�t believe that High school has come so fast. It seems like just yesterday that I was walking onto the campus of RSM Intermediate. I remember that I had no friends and I had heard lots of rumors about teachers and certain people, and I thought that the eighth graders would make fun of me and throw me in trash cans. But it was different. The eighth graders picked on me a little, and some of the rumors I heard were true, but it was alright.
High school was even better. This is my second day here, at Mission Viejo High School and I�m really enjoying it. I�m on the freshman football team, and I�m also going to be on the basketball and track team. My name is Justin Franklin and live with my Mom, my dad, and my dog Max. Before I came to Mission, I attended De Portola Elementary, and RSM Intermediate. I have two older brothers; James and Jason. James lives in San Pedro and he�s in the Air Force Academy. Jason lives in Kansas and plays arena football for the Topeka Kings. My dream is to follow my brothers footsteps, but I want to play in the Nfl.

My family and I go on vacation often. Out of all of our vacations, my favorite has been the trip to Baja California. At first I thought the trip was going to be the worst trip of my life. But my parents told me I could take a friend. So I took my buddy Tyler. We had lots of fun. We stayed in a hotel for three days, the hotel wasn�t that great but that was ok. Our usual day schedule was to wake up at seven o�clock and go out on the boat and fish. We would get back at about one, and we would walk around and shop or jus stay in the hotel. My family, my friend, and I had a great time on our trip.
My parents are the key of my life. They are the reason I am where I am right now. My mom had me in preschool when I was two and a half years old. I was also in Kumon, and other math and reading after school programs. I skipped first grade, I�ve been in honors classes all my life. Because I skipped first grade, I�ve always been a year behind all my friends. That hasn�t been a problem in sports so far, and I hope it won�t. My mom and dad are very strict, and they are always pushing me to do better at everything. Lots of times I get angry, but I still love them.
I consider myself blessed when I think of all the kids dieing and living in poverty, even though sometimes I don�t like my dinner, or my clothes or my school, but then I say to myself that I�m lucky to have food to eat, and clothes to wear, and a school to attend. I thank my parents for everything.
