| "DON'T, PLEASE, NO, NO!!" The screaming woke him, causing his hands to fly to his eyes to rub them open. "Angel, are you okay?" He couldn't feel her on his chest anymore, and the darkness was preventing him from seeing anything. "Tiffany? Where are you?" He felt across the bed, finally meeting her body on the other side. "Angel, wake up." To say she woke up would be an understatement. She sat up very quickly, like she was pulling herself out of the dream. "You have a nightmare, angel?" "Huh? Yeah I'm okay though." "You sure? You want to talk about it?" "No I am fine, it was a stupid dream." "Well come here, angel." She crawled over to his side of the bed, laying with him once more. She wiped her eyes, then he took her hand in his. He could feel her tears absorbing into his skin, but not wanting to push her, he kissed the back of her hand to taste the saltiness, wanting to be certain. "You okay, angel?" "No, I killed my parents. You understand that? If I hadn't of asked for that ice cream they'd be here. They'd be here enjoying life. Nevermind, you wouldn't understand." She got up and walked into the bathroom, then grabbed some tissue and blew her nose. She washed her face to rid it of the tears then dried it with a towel. Justin had joined her in the bathroom, and pulled her to him, when she noticed he also had tears in his eyes. "What's wrong, baby? I'm sorry I didn't mean to be so mean." "No, angel, it's not that. It just hurts to see you cry. I feel so bad that there's nothing I can do for you." "You can be here for me. That's all I ask." "I can do that. I promise, angel." He kissed her on the forehead. "I'll try at least." "That's all I ask." She pulled him for a kiss, while he enjoyed being close enough to enjoy the scent of hair again. "Come to bed with me?" "Yeah I feel better now, I have my protector here." She teased, letting a smile briefly take her lips. "You wanna go in that pool huh?" "Oh scary." She held her hand toward him to reveal it wasn't shaking "Controlled fear." "Oh you are so lucky I'm a nice person." "I know." "You are so cute. I don't know what I did for fun before I met you." "Probably acted sane." "Not likely." "I know, I was trying to be nice." He smiled at her then he picked her up and carried her to the bed. He threw her down and jumped on top of her, pinning her down to tickle her. "Trying to be nice?" "No hahahhaha no hahahah I meant hahaha no hahhahah" "What, what? I can't understand you. Speak up." "hahhaha I said hahhahaha I meant hahahaha please hahaa" "Ok, you are lucky I'm nice." He rolled off of her. "You are hahahaha so mean haha." "Mean? You need more tickling to prove how nice I am?" "No. You are nice." "You wouldn't just say that would you?" "Of course not." He woke up before her as he had planned, then quietly walked downstairs and dialed the familiar number. "Hello" "Hey buddy, I need a favor." "You always need a favor." "You have to do this for me." Upstair Tiffany woke to find the bed was empty. She quickly checked on Colton, who was still asleep, then hopped into the shower. After blow drying her hair, she walked into her room to find Justin on her bed. "Wow." "Thanks." The blush was already turning her cheeks a light pink from his obvious gaze. "Aaaw how cute, come here." "Huh?" She let him take her hands in his from his place at the edge of the bed as she stood before him. "I'm glad you told me about your parents. It makes me feel good that you trusted me enough to tell me. You know what I mean right?" "Of course." "Good, then you won't think I am crazy." "I wouldn't anyways, babe." "You are so sweet." "I have to go into work today." "Nnnooo, don't leave me, with you and Colton gone what will I do?" "You can sit with me in my office." "Yay!!!" He said overexagerating, already standing at her side. "Calm down junior." She led him to Colton's room, then watched as his chest rose and fell in rythm He looked so peaceful, that was about to change "Colton wake up!" Colton jolted forward, taking a look of surprise until he saw Tiffany then smiled. "Morning already?" "You want to go to daycare today?" She looked down at him as Justin wrapped his arms around her waist. "Are you going?" "Yeah and Justin is too." "He is?" "Yeah he's going to stay with me in my office." "Really?" "Yeah if he's a good boy." Justin nuzzled his head into her neck, trying to wake himself. "Is he being good?" Colton refered to his behavior at the moment. "Yeah, just a lil weird." She fake whispered. "You better get dressed." "Ok." He ran to the closet full of children's clothes to chose something to wear. |
