| "You wanna go to the pool?" She raised her eyebrow, not sure she would follow through with her threat. "If you think you can carry me, bring it." Just because he had such a cocky grin on his face, she approached him, throwing him over her shoulder. "Don't doubt me, buddy." She stated, carrying him only to the kitchen. "But I'm not going to throw you in the pool. I don't want to do that much laundry." "You are so thoughtful." "I know, we still have an hour before we need to leave. What do you want to do?" "Well I could think if a couple things." Throwing her a sexy grin along with a wink, he laughed. "Oh really." Not one to back down, she took a few steps closer to him, looking for any signs of nervousness. "Oh yeah." Raising his eyebrows, he tried to hide his concern for her lack of distance from him. "Too bad." Turning on her heel, she took a few steps away before he grabbed her hips, pulling her back. "Don't go." He whined playfully, still keeping his grip. "Aaaww you poor baby." She lavished attention on him in a joking manner. "Yeah and I got a boo boo, will you kiss it and make it better?" "Sure, where's your boo boo?" She looked over him for any apparent signs of pain, as the game left her mind "Nowhere." He hadn't expected a yes, he was going to say his lips, but she said yes. "Oh so your lying to me already?" "Noooo." "Uh huh sure." "Am not." He said in a baby voice, lowering his head for effect. "Aaaww how cute." She squeeled, forgeting about the game for one brief second. "Really?" Still playing, his eyes lit up. "Uh huh almost sexy." She added getting back in a playful mood then walked to the refridgerator to avoid blushing as he watched her. Pulling out two sport drinks, she held one up for his approval as he began to speak. "Can I tell you something?" He had thought about it in the shower, he was ready to tell her who he was. "Yeah anything." She said preoccupied with opening the drinks. "I feel like a kid again." He chickened out at the last minute, letting his hands drop to his side in frustration. "Thank you, you are a sweetie." "I know." He tried to get back in a playful mood, afraid she would see his lapse in mood. "So you try hard at it?" "No just comes naturally." "Well aren't you lucky?" "Guess so." "Guess not." "What does that mean?" "I dunno, just had to disagree with you." Setting his drink on the table, she faced him, ready for anything. "How come?" He whined in a child's voice, knowing the response he would get. "NO!" She covered her ears, playfully blocking the soft whine. "Why not, I make you horny baby?" He questioned in an Austin Powers voice, or at least that's what she thought he was going for. "You wish." "Maybe." He said coyly, as she laughed at him. "Could you come here?" He wondered if the words had actually come out, but was sure when she walked over to him. "What?" She let her drink rest on the table, licking her lips. Taking it as a sign, he dipped her head back, taking in all of her. "Wow." Almost inaudable, he licked his lips, pulling her to rest on his chest, where she could hear his heart beat. After a few seconds she pulled back from him, glancing at her watch quickly. "Where are you going?" "To get my keys, we need to get Colton." "OK, let's go." He walked her to the car, pulling her keys from her grasp, then unlocking her door. "You can drive a stick?" Positioning himself, he looked down at the stick, knowing the answer. "Yeah, that surprising?" "A lil, I mean you are a girl." "Oh, no you didn't. You will find that I can do a lot of things girls can't." "Cool." She slid to a stop at a red light, causing the guy next to her to look over, revving his engine. Sure it was an automatic, he thought he could outrun it easily. Nodding her head at him slightly, she slid the car into first. Then eased up on the clutch until the car was almost into gear, letting go of the brake enough to let the car roll forward a foot before replacing her foot on the brake. When the light turned green, she stomped on the gas, causing the tires to squeel for a split second. She let the car remian in first until she hit twenty miles an hour then quickly placed it in second. Seconds later stopped at the next red light and waited for the guy she had just raced to catch up. Looking over at him, she stuck her tongue out. He turned his head the other way in shame, as Justin laughed. "You are not a girl!" He exclaimed, as she slid the car into first. "Yeah I am, well last time I checked anyways." She giggled then took a right to get onto the highway. Once she got into fifth gear, she reached over to grab Justin's hand out of habit. Whenever she had a boyfriend in the car before she had held his hand. "Here you ga ma'am." Justin said as he held the door open for her, allowing her access to the daycare. "Why thank you young man." She mocked, slipping into a British accent as she entered the hallway. "Your welcome." He came up behind her, grabbing her hand as they walked toward Colton's classroom. Colton smiled from ear to ear when he saw them walk around the corner holding hands, he knew one day alone would bring them together. "I love you!" He beamed, jumping into Justin's arms as he hugged them both. "I love you, too." They called after him, as he jumped down to run to Ms. Ingrid. "I'm leaving!" He informed her, then went to retrieve his things from his cubby. "Yeah I saw that." She answered, already walking toward Tiffany. "So more than friends now?" She asked raising an eyebrow playfully. |
