| Chapter Three "Aaawww, you are such a sweetie. But I am fine, why don't we go for a swim before we eat so our tummy's don't ache." She had perfected the art of hiding her emotions. It was easy for her to put her emotions on hold until she was alone. "OK, we can swim but can we have pizza for dinner?" He was hoping she would say yes so she wouldn't have to stay in the kitchen while they swam. "Well I don't have the stuff to make it, but we can order in if you want." "OK!!!!!" He said dancing around, Justin had stayed pretty quiet until then. "Oh no we don't have suits Colton. I'll run home and get us some." Tiffany waved her hand trying to talk through her giggles. Colton was so cute when he danced. He had a love for dancing and he was good at it. "No need I have plenty of extras in the pool house. I even have adult sizes for the parents. So ya'll follow me and you can have your pick." She led them to the room she had designated for the boys to change in. She was about to leave when she turned around. "I will be in that room if you need me." She pointed to a door that was painted pink. Justin realized the door of the room he was in was painted blue, figuring it was for the boys and girls who came over that couldn't read. Colton had picked them out matching suits, yellow with navy blue stripes down the sides. "Wow these are so cool, huh?" Justin said as he put his on, while Colton nodded his head in agreement. "Ms. Tiffany picked them out. They are her favorites." Justin could tell that Colton had a great admiration for her. He couldn't blame him, she had a certian charm. He almost admired her, he wanted to know more about her. He wanted to know why she had almost cried when her father was mentioned. They walked into the pool area to find Tiffany had drinks set up on a table for them. "I hope lemonade is okay, I thought it would fit into the pool theme. I made them earlier but I forgot about them because of the puzzles." Justin wasn't paying attention to the words she was speaking. She was wearing a yellow bikini, and looked absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time respectable. It was a shorts and tank top style bikini. "I love lemonade!!" Colton ran over to the table, pulling a cup away from it to take a sip. "Justin did you grab any floaties for him?" She already knew the answer because she could see niether of them had floaties. "I forgot, we were having the best conversation, huh, lil partner?" "About what?" She called over her shoulder as she walked away to get floaties. "You." It was all he could say, Colton was already getting into the pool and he was trying to hold him up since he didn't have any floaties on yet. "Oh really?" She rounded the corner and pointed a water gun at them that she had acquired in the room. "What about me?" She raised her eyebrows as she threw the floaties into the pool. "Well just that you picked out the bathing suits." He said acting overly scared and making himself stutter. She pointed the gun at him as he put Colton's floaties on. "I have good taste, huh?" She said in a you better say yes tone. "I would have gone with a different shade of yellow." He decided to defy her as he pulled the second floatie on. "Oh really?" "Yeah what about you Colton?" Colton smiled. He could tell they were getting along. Tiffany figured he wouldn't answer so she began to spray Justin. He walked to the side of the pool she was standing on, grabbed her legs and pulled her in. He hadn't thought ahead enough to realize she would come in right on top of him and he would go underwater too. Falling into the water shocked him, he reached for the first thing he found and held onto it. When he came up he was holding her arm. Laughing, niether realized they were touching. "You punk!" She spatt when she caught her breath. "Me? You sprayed me! You have that whole innocent look but....." He stopped to add emphasis. She glanced down at her arm which his hand was attached to. "Oh sorry," He began, but she waved her hand to stop him. "It's okay." She looked over at Colton. "I got him good, huh?" "Oh Tiffany watch, watch!" Justin pulled Colton over to him by one of his floaties. "Hey, Colton what happened to your hair?" "A cow licked me." He answered, running a hand through the part in his hair. Justin and Tiffany began laughing. "Oh no, that is hilarious." Tiffany couldn't control herself, she grabbed him and hugged him. "You are a lil cutie." She said once she had her laughter under control. "I taught him that." Justin protested, and Tiffany relented, giving him a hug, also. "Happy?" "Very." He faked fainting, letting his body fall into the water. "Ha ha not funny." "Pizza's here!! Come and get it. Hey hey no fighting." She scolded the boys, as she set the pizzas down and let them dig in. They were watching Drop Dead Fred. Colton ate a few pieces of pizza then crawled into Tiffany's lap and laid his head on her shoulder. A few minutes later he was asleep, Justin looked over just in time to see her looking down at Colton. They looked so peaceful, he could actually feel the happiness floating from her. "I'm gunna lay him down upstairs, unless you are ready to leave." "I'll get him, you lead the way." He stood up and picked up the sleeping child. She lead the way upstairs, and walked into the first bedroom she came to. She pulled back the covers on the bed and Justin laid Colton down. She held her finger to her lips and tip toed out of the room, Justin following her. Colton opened his eyes and watched them leave, he smiled as he rolled over to go to sleep. "Now we can watch a real movie." Justin said as the credits began to roll across the screen. "I happen to like that movie." She deffended, as he walked over to her movie case and picked up Blair Witch 2. He stuck it into the DVD player, as she pleaded. "No I'll have nightmares." "I'll keep you safe." He said holding up his arms to show his strength. She laughed and threw a pillow from the couch at him. "You better." "Cross my heart." He ran his fingers over his chest to prove his point. "Ok you can start it." She threw her hands up in defeat, not sure she could win a battle with him. She woke up to the sun in her eyes. She sat up suddenly when she realized there was an arm around her. She looked down to find Justin waking slowly. He looked up at her as she turned off the TV that was still on from the night before. "Good mornig." "Any nightmares last night?" He rubbed his hands over his eyes, trying to pull himself from the slumber. "No." She admitted as he got a smug look on his face. "Did you even get to the end of the movie?" "I don't think I made it through the opening credits." She giggled, rolling her neck to relieve the crimp. "Me either." He stood up and stretched. He had a great body, she had to admitt it. She was staring hard and he was noticing. He extened his stretch to give her a longer peep show. Just then they heard footsteps, Tiffany jumped toward Justin, he grabbed her and shielded her with his body as they both watched the kitchen door. |
