| "Come on in, I'll make you a drink." She got out of the car. Why did I invite him in? He needs to leave. So I will never have to see him agian. Do I want that? Yes, of course I do. "It looks nice. But it always did." He walked through the door. "Thanks." She walked into the kitchen and he walked over to the wall of puzzles. The puzzle they had finished together was in it's place. On the slip of paper with the date was thier intials. He felt special to be on the wall with all her and her father's puzzles. He felt like taking a picture. He knew he would never be able to see it when he wanted to. "I hung it up yesterday. Looks nice, huh?" "Yeah." He turned and she could see the tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?" She knew the answer. He had tears in his eyes for he same reason she had the past couple of weeks. "Nothing, just thinking." "Love lost and lovers gone." She said in a playful tone to lighten the mood. It didn't work though. "Yeah." He said hanging his head. "I'm sorry, let's go sit in the kitchen. I'll make you lunch." "Ok." He followed her into the kitchen. "How about grilled cheese?" "Yeah, maybe I should go see Colton." "He asked me about you about a week ago." "Really, what'd you tell him?" "I told him you were on tour and I came back to do some work." "That's probably better than the truth." "You can tell him if you want. I was just afriad...." She shook her head. She didn't want to tell him she was afraid she was going to cry. "Yeah he probably wouldn't take the news well." He saved her. "Yeah, probably not." She said almost inaudable. "I think he would." He said playfully to lighten the mood. "Oh do you?" She said playing along. "Yeah. You wanna disagree?" "And if I do?" "We may have to play the how long will it take Justin to throw Tiffany in the pool game." "You wanna play that game?" She cocked an eyebrow. He started walking toward her. "You might wanna turn the stove off first." She turned off the stove and put the pan on a back burner so the food wouldn't burn. "Ok." She held her arms up. "Now what?" He picked her up and carried her to the pool. He jumped in with her in his arms. They came up laughing. She looked so pretty laughing. He pulled her into his arms. He leaned down to kiss her. "I have to go uuummm take a shower." She pulled away from him and swam to the steps. She quickly got out of the pool. He watched her walk out of the room and into the house. He cleaned up the kitchen for her and left her a note. He showed himself out and went to his house. She got out of the shower and walked to the kitchen to clean up. It was already clean, she noticed a note on the table. Hey, Showed myself out. Here is the ticket and backstage pass. I'll see you tonight, and I'll keep my lips seeled. The guys will be very surprised. I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to scare you away. I will settle for just friends. I will never try to kiss you agian, sorry. See you tonight. Your friend, Justin She almost cried. Just friends? It was better than nothing but it wasn't what she wanted. She couldn't tell him that though. She would have to live with it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JC was signing an autograph when he saw her. She looked gorgeous, she was wearing very low cut hip huggers and a backless shirt. He didn't want to blow off the fan he was talking to. He waved for her to come over. He held up a finger to tell her it would be a minute. As soon as the fan left he grabbed her and hugged her. He swung her around a few times. "It is so good to see you." "You too." She was feeling light headed agian. She grabbed his arm for support and he led her to a nearby couch. "You okay?" "Yeah just a little sick." "You should go to the doctor." "I am next week." "Good." Just then Joey walked into the room. He ran over to Tiffany and pulled her up by her hands. "Oh my god! I am so happy to see you! Are you and Justin back together?" "No. I came to see ya'll." "How'd you get backstage." "Justin gave me the tickets. He hit me today." "He hit you? With his hand?" "No with his car. I was in mine. He rearended me." "Oh, okay." She followed them into the changing room. All the guys were dressed. They were unwinding from the concert. She got bombarded with hugs from all the guys except Justin. She tried too act like she didn't notice. All the guys kept her busy talking until two in the morning. "I have to go home." She tried to excuse herself. "No, don't go." Joey whined. "Ya'll come over for drinks." She offered. "Ok." They all said in unison. They followed her to her house. She made Jack and Cokes for everyone. "Let's play truth or dare." Chris slurred. Everyone was a little tipsy and agreed. "Ok I start." Chris said. "Tiffany truth or dare?" "Dare, I feel a little gutsy." "I dare you to give JC a two minute lap dance." "Ok." She stumbled to the CD player and turned the radio to a slow song. "Time me." She turned to Chris. She straddled JC and started to move her hips. Justin watched as JC got noticably aroused and wrapped his arms around her hips. He turned his head the other way and waited for Chris to yell time. Tiffany returned to her seat and turned to face Joey. "Joey truth or dare?" "Dare." "I dare you to give Chris a two minute lap dance." She giggled. Justin watched her eyes light up with amusement as Joey agreed. |
