| "Go get ready." She playfully pushed him into the changing room, as she took a seat at a nearby bench to wait for him. "Jaden, are we ready for tonight?" JC emerged from the room, fully dressed, and joined her on the bench. "Yep, this is going to be great." "I can't wait to see the look on his face." Half filled with anticipation of the night, and half with the anticipation of the show about to start. "Time for prayer." Lance grabbed each of them on his way to the stage, as Jaden tried to object. "Lance, not me, I'm going to the VIP box." She attempted to tug her hand from his, with no result. "You don't want to say prayer with us?" JC teased as he walked next to her, chuckling at her struggle. "Yeah, I'd love to, I just thought he wasn't thinking straight." She put her body weight into pulling herself away from him, and overjudged, throwing herself to the ground. "We aren't praying here, you'll have to make it to the stage." JC held a hand out for her to take, then helped her up. "Thanks, that was graceful, huh?" She giggled as she jogged after Lance, who hadn't stopped. "Ready? Or do you need a minute to dust off your butt?" Justin jogged up next to her, running a few seconds later than the rest of the men, because of his delayed arrival. "Not funny, I'm ready." They all joined hands, and waited for JC to begin, because it was his turn. "Lord, as always we'd like to thank you for our talent, and the gift to be able to share it. We'd also like to thank you for the people we've been allowed to meet through it," he paused squeezing Jaden's hand. "We'd also like to ask for a safe and happy show. In Jesus name we pray Amen." "Amen." They all said together, then Jaden dismissed herself to the VIP box, as the men took stage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Great show guys." She climbed onto the bus, knowing they would already be there. "Thanks." They called from the back room, where she found them sprawled across the room. "Hey Babe, we have a date for tomorrow night." She confirmed his request from earlier, as she cuddled up with him on the couch. "Good, I can't wait to see you." He teased, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her in to steal a kiss. "You better get some sleep, you have an early appointment." "Yeah we all do, let's get some sleep guys." JC tried to get them all to the bunks for the night. "Alright, good night." Justin made his way to his bunk, motioning for Jaden to follow him. "Can I help you?" She mocked in a professional tone. "Yeah you can, I forgot my teddy bear and I can't sleep alone." He tried guiding her to the bunk, but was refused permission. "I can't, not tonight. But I promise tomorrow night I will." She pecked his cheek, then left him to get into the bunk alone. Thirty minutes later, JC met her in the back room as she looked through the supplies to make sure she had everything. "Got it all?" He joined her on the floor where she had dispersed all the items. "Yeah," afraid to reply in anything above a whisper, she packed it all into a bag. "What's first?" "Ok, first pull his hand out of the bunk so you can paint his fingernails. Then I'll start putting the makeup on his face. Then the picture." She whispered, leading him to Joey's bunk, where she pulled the curtain back to reveal his face. She went to work on his face, while JC messily applied paint to his fingernails. When they were done, she pulled his hand up to rest on his face, then quickly snapped a picture, ducking into the back room with JC incase the sound woke him. Luckily it did not, and they went their seperate ways, after a little celebration consisting of chuckles and giggles. Jaden went to work removing the nail polish from Joey's nails, as JC crawled into his bunk, at her demand. He had already missed enough sleep in her opinion. She left the bright blue eyeshadow on Joey's eyes, fearful any wiping would wake him. After throwing away the Q-tips she had used, she crawled into Justin's bunk for a restful night's sleep. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luckily Joey woke before anyone else the next morning, and took a shower without checking the mirror. In his shower all the make up that had been left washed off, leaving him with no idea of the picture that would be shown to everyone later. Jaden saw the boys off, then gathered the dirty laundry, and the film to drop off at a one hour developing establishment. Once she had taken JC's shirt and the film to the proper stores, she took care of the laundry that had been dropped off for her. All the while hoping JC wouldn't slip up and give their trick away. At noon she had finished the laundry, obtained JC's shirt and the film, and started lunch for the guys. She chose to treat them with chili dogs, treat because it wouldn't be another sandwich. When the men walked in they each grabbed two, kissed her cheek in thanks, then made their way to change for rehearsal. All except JC, who stayed behind in hopes to see how the picture had turned out. She wordlessly pulled it from her bunk and handed it to him. "Oh no, this is great." He studied the picture carefully, then added. "When should we show it to him?" "Now's fine with me. But I wasn't involved." She held her hands up in innocence, proving her point. "Got it. You go in first." He ordered, then watched her walk to the back room, waited a few seconds then followed. "Hey Jace, enjoy your lunch?" Justin asked from his position under Jaden, who was perched in his lap. "Yeah, you gotta see what I just found." He handed the picture to him, who passed it to everyone in the room, Joey getting it last. By the time Joey got ahold of it he was really excited to see what it was, since it had made all the other men begin laughing. "JC!!" He yelled standing to give chase, then sat back down calmly. "I'll get you later, who helped you?" "No one." He shrugged his shoulders, throwing himself onto an empty couch. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You look great." Justin greeted her at his hotel room door. "Thanks, you do too." She complemented, walking into the beautiful room. Justin had candles everywhere, with a blanket in the middle of the room on the floor, their dinner arranged on top of it. "You like picnics right?" Justin guided her into the room, leaving her at the edge of the blanket to seat herself. "Yeah, love them." She situated herself, as best she could in her dress. They had their dinner, along with a little whine, then made their way to his patio. "Did you like the food?" Justin put his arms around her waist, leaning on her as she leaned on the railing. "Yes, it was great." She turned in his arms, causing their faces to be inches apart. He took this chance to kiss her, dipping her head back to increase pressure. "Jaden, I love you." Letting his eyes drop, he waited for her response, trying not to show her he was nervous. "I love you too, Babe." Putting her hands on each side of his face, she pulled him to her, lightly brushing her lips across his before allowing him to part her lips with his tongue. |
